Aram Ghulijanyan, MD, MPH, is a PhD student in Dr. Rahnavard’s lab with extensive experience in clinical practice, health data management, and implementation of digital health systems. Prior to joining the program, he served as a Medical Process Management Officer at the National eHealth Operator of Armenia, where he led the development of electronic health records and a nationwide e-prescription system, working closely with regulatory bodies, IT teams, and healthcare stakeholders. Aram has also worked as a healthcare consultant for the World Bank, contributing to data-driven evaluations of acute care hospitalizations, and has supported AI-driven medical system development as a medical expert and program implementation specialist. With a clinical background as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon and general practitioner, combined with strong analytical and research skills, Aram brings a unique blend of medical expertise, health informatics, and applied research to his PhD work in the lab.
